Clean and modern hotel
When we made the reservation, we didn't know that dogs over 5kg were not allowed, but the hotel accepted our dog. We are grateful.
the man at the reception was a little rude to us, which was disappointing.

Solid, but not a 4 stars hotel
Very friendly staff
Breakfast was very very basic and room modestly equipped for a 4 stars hotel. Also no available parking spots if you arrive late. Hotel cannot be considered as a hotel with parking because parking spots are very limited.

What was the highlight of Grand Hôtel De La Seine
A good base for exploring.
The hotel is well located for visiting the city centre and its attractions. We found it easily enough having driven down from Calais. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about what was going on. The room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed. The shower was powerful, and the water temperature was constant. Secure parking was available on a first come, first served basis with the access a little tricky but manageable. There is parking down the road adjacent to the hotel, but it does become congested. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide selection on offer. We discovered that public transport is free on Saturdays, so we were able to go further afield by bus hopping, which was a welcome relief after exploring the city on foot for two days.
The first night the air conditioning was not operational but when we woke up the next day it was working and the control was set to 20 degrees which we found to be too cold but we could not change the setting but as we were not in the room much if was not a big issue. Our room overlooked the flyover, and the traffic noise was just audible despite the good soundproofing, especially on the night PSG won the Champions' League final when no soundproofing would have worked. ????

Comfortable and pleasant stay
Great location, comfortable stay with polite, helpful and friendly staff.
No information for allergens at breakfast not separate utensils for breakfast items leading to cross contamination. Language barrier makes breakfast challenging.
